This is a roughly 9.25" x 3" fruit bowl turned from Bradford Pear grown in Cleveland, TN. My father-in-law planted this tree himself in the 90s and I now have the privilege of using some of it for woodturning.
It is warped subtly to oval shape with a double groove around the outside just below the rim. Cracks are filled with crushed geode crystals.
