This small lidded box is turned from a large Red Oak that fell during a storm in Midtown, Memphis, TN in 2023. It measures 2 7/8" in diameter and 3 1/8" tall. Inside depth is approx 2 1/4". Cracks which formed in the drying process were filled with crushed seashells from the Florida Gulf Coast, giving a subtle contrast to the red Oak. The lid fits loosely on the base.
